No injuries after vehicle fire at Carlington car wash

There are no injuries reported after a vehicle fire in Ottawa's Carlington neighbourhood.

Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) responded to a self serve car wash on Laperierre Avenue, between Bellevue Avenue and Clyde Avenue North, just after 3 a.m. on Friday, June 10.

A 9-1-1 caller had reported visible smoke and popping sounds at the location, and upon arrival, crews found a vehicle on fire.

The fire was contained to the car wash bay and was declared under control just before 4 a.m.

An Ottawa fire investigator has been dispatched to the scene to determine what caused the fire.
