Truck driver receives fines for driving on Wellington Street in front of Parliament

A truck driver travelling along Wellington Street in front of Parliament Hill on Friday, July 15 was issued over $1,000 in fines.
Wellington Street has been closed to vehicle traffic between Elgin Street and Bank Street since the 'Freedom Convoy' occupation ended in February of this year.
A white pickup truck was stopped and was issued several provincial offence notices including driving with no licence, driving with a hand-held device, driving on a closed roadway, and disobeying a sign.
