BC Lions unveil Grey Cup 2011 plans

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The BC Lions still have a chance to make the playoffs this year but they are already talking about next year’s party! The Leos are hosting the Grey Cup at the renovated BC Place, and have released new details about the 2011 festivities.

The team is calling on all football fans to “Raise the Roof.” That will be the Grey Cup 2011 theme.

Scott Ackles with the club says there will be a number of beer gardens around town, as well as street and fan festivals. The BC Lottery Corporation has also been named as the Lions’ new major Grey Cup sponsor.
