One of the three men implicated in the May firebombing of the Glebe RBC branch has pleaded guilty.
Joseph Roger Clement pleaded guilty to dousing the bank with a liquid believed to be gasoline.
He also pleaded guilty to mischief over $5,000 for a Feb. 1 vandalism case at another RBC branch at 745 Bank St.
Charges against firebombing co-accused Matthew Morgan-Brown were stayed due to insufficient evidence.
Morgan-Brown left the court while Clement is being held in custody until his sentencing hearing Dec. 6.
The guilty plea comes less than six months after the bank was allegedly targeted by the anarchist group, Fighting for Freedom Coalition – Ottawa.
