Santa Claus made a stop downtown Ottawa, Saturday, for the 41st Annual Help Santa Toy Parade.
About 110,000 people lined the streets hoping to catch a glimpse of jolly old St. Nick.
Children of all ages enjoyed bands, clowns, floats, mascots and majorettes that all flooded the streets as part of the parade.
The spirit of giving was alive during the parade with the Ottawa Professional Firefighters’ Association collecting toys and cash donations along the route.
The festivities began at 5 p.m.
Following the parade, participants were invited to attend the Toy Parade reception inside the Civic Centre salons.
And Santa Claus slated to make a stop in Barrhaven for the 14th annual Lions Club parade, Sunday.
The floats will make their way along Strandherd Drive, from Beatrice Drive to Longfields Drive, starting at 5:30 p.m.
