Some CFL fans will be laying down some cash on this year’s Grey Cup final. But when it comes to picking the winner, who do you plunk your toonie down on?
The Montreal Alouettes have the talent and the record, but 1310News sports reporter Frank Sasin says, Saskatchewan has the intangible.
“If anyone has got…momentum on their side, it’s got to be Saskatchewan,” Sasin pontificated. But he points out the die-hard nature of the Riders’ fans, and sheer popularity.
“If you’re betting….with your head, pick the Als. If you’re a sentimentalist, go with the Riders,” Sasin said.
The Roughriders will be looking for their fourth Grey Cup in franchise history, while Montreal has been to the title game for the eighth time in the last ten years.
