Dany Heatley will feel the wrath of Ottawa’s scorn tonight as he and the San Jose Sharks take on the Senators
This will be the first time Heatley will face his former teammates and former fans since his trade in the summer of 2009.
1310News took to the streets to get fans’ reaction on Heatley’s return. One fan called Heatley “a piece of trash”, while another said she respected him as a player.
But based on the majority of people 1310 spoke to, Heatly can expect a frosty, if not hostile reception.
