Gas prices make a huge jump

A big jump at the pumps this morning.
The price of gas has sky-rocketed at most locations around the city by 4.4 cents to a $1.14/litre.
Gas price watcher Dan McTeague is calling this an overreaction to the markets. He says the gas price increase is “not in context with the economic realities in Canada, North America, or around the world”.
McTeague tells 1310News it’s possible that gas prices could reach $1.20/litre by Christmas.
