U.S Midwest hit hard by winter storm

A powerful winter storm has dumped heavy snow across the upper U.S. Midwest, which has led to hundreds of flight cancellations and closed roads.
Nearly 60 centimetres of snow dropped on parts of Minnesota.
The snow was so heavy it caused the roof of the Minneapolis Metrodome to collapse, but the facilities director said it’s a relatively easy fix.
Major highways in several states are closed due to poor driving conditions and accidents.
The U.S. National Weather Service said blizzard warnings are in effect for parts of eastern Iowa, southeastern Wisconsin, northwestern Illinois and northern Michigan.
Dangerously cold temperatures and winds have now settled in. At least six weather-related deaths have been reported.
