Capital hit with more snow than expected

Slow, nasty and messy – that’s been the commute for thousands of drivers across the Capital region, Tuesday.
Plows were out doing what they could, but the wind was blowing snow right back onto area roads and that meant slippery conditions and poor visibility on city streets and highways.
Meantime, with winter storms hammering Southwestern Ontario and parts of the United States, it is being advised to check the status of any flight you may have booked with the Ottawa airport.
