Busy day for Canada Post

OTTAWA — Today is traditionally the busiest day of the year for Canada Post, as those last minute Christmas cards end up in mailboxes across the country.
John Caines with Canada Post says the official numbers aren’t in yet, but it’s been very busy. “I can tell you we’re tracking pretty close to what we did last year. Our highest day so far was last Thursday, which was close to 33 million pieces that we processed.”
He says just under 800 million pieces of mail have been processed between November 14th and December 16th.
