Man, 38, in serious condition after weekend assault

A 38-year-old man remains in serious condition after an altercation with another man downtown over the weekend.
Emergency crews were called to the 200-block of Somerset Street just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
On scene, they found the victim unconscious and in critical condition with a broken jaw, nose and missing teeth.
A few meters from the incident they apprehended the suspect.
Brandon Stewart, 22, has been charged with aggravated assault – among other charges.
He is slated to appear in court later today.
