Gas prices expected to rise

Get ready to pay more at the pumps. 

Roger McKnight, with consulting firm En-Pro International, said he wouldn’t be surprised to see gasoline and diesel prices 15 to 20 per cent higher this spring than a year ago.  McKnight said oil companies will likely reap big profits in the coming quarters.

Crude oil, the main ingredient in transportation fuel, has been steadily creeping up over the past few months, hovering above $92 (U.S.) per barrel on Wednesday.
