Man arrested in west-end child porn bust

Ottawa Police have arrested and charged a 55-year-old Ottawa man with several porn-related chrages.

The High Tech Crime/Internet Child Exploitation Unit made the arrest, Wednesday, after searching a home in the city’s west end.

“One computer, numerous analogue and digital media were seized from the residence,” said Cst. Henri Lanctôt.  “Images and videos of child pornography were located at the residence.”

Police have charged 55-year-old Lyle McCann with two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of making available child pornography.
