Ontario boosts Harper Tories in poll

What a difference a month can make.
The latest Ipsos Reid survey finds the Conservatives have bounced back in a month with a five point gain nationally, while the Liberals saw a four percent drop.
The gains for the Tories came here in Ontario.
The poll finds the Tories have not only gained nationally, but made a sizeable jump in this province.
Darryl Bricker of Ipsos Reid says the winds of change are swirling in the 905 area code.
“In the city of Toronto, we’ve seen that being particularly volatile. They’ve delivered a more conservative option when they elected their municipal government back in November so we’ve seen more volatility on that front as well”.
The Conservatives gained six percent in Ontario which will be crucial in the next election.
Bricker is suggesting the parties forego the election planes and just get a bus and drive up and down the 4-0-1 for the campagin.
The Conservatives say they don’t want a federal election and next month’s budget won’t provoke a vote.
