Transit commission weighs options for saving seven million

The Ottawa Transit Commision is looking at buying 75 new double decker buses to increase route capacity. It’s also considering ways to trim, cut or merge as many as 45 OC Transpo bus routes.
The Commssion is trying to save seven million dollars. One of the moves being considered is making riders walk further to catch more frequent bus services downtown.
