A marathon meeting ended with school board trustees coming up with a temporary solution to the overcrowding at schools in Kanata and the Glebe.
The public board has adopted staff recommendations which will have first avenue district junior kindergarten students going to Muchmore public in the fall instead.
In Kanata the Katimavik junior kindergarten students will go to Castlefrank and senior kindergarten French immersion students at Stephen Leacock will go to Roland Mitchener.
