Possible road rage case in Vancouver

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Charges of assault are being recommended after an apparent road rage incident at Main and Hastings Streets around 10:30 p.m.

VPD Inspector Eric Grummisch says a fight broke out between a pedestrian and a driver.  “The pedestrian ended up going to the ground having some facial injuries and a possible concussion.”

The 43-year-old driver took off, but was arrested around 1st Avenue and Nanaimo Street.  The 26-year-old victim remains in hospital in stable condition.

No word on what caused the scrap.
