Hockey Day in Navan

Navan is hoping to crack the top 10 contenders list for Kraft Hockeyville 2011 and are hosting hockey day, a full day of activities Sunday at the Navan Memorial Centre.

Navan is hoping to show why the town would be a good choice.

There will be street hockey games, free public skating, sleigh and wagon rides and live entertainment.

If chosen for Kraft Hockeyville, Navan will receive a cash prize and an NHL exhibition game will be played there.

To see if Navan makes it into the Top 10 Finalists, you can go to the Navan Curling Club on Tuesday, March 8th from 8-10pm to watch the Kraft Hockeyville Top 10 Finalists Show.
