Green Party attacking attack ads

The Green Party is releasing its own attack ad…..against attack ads.
The commercial hit the web Monday morning and will be airing on national television beginning Monday night.
The ad shows grainy clips from the attack ads of other parties and then ends with the message ‘Change the channel on attack ads.’
Green Party Leader Elizabeth May says this commercial is a part of a broader campaign to put an end to attack ads.
May says many other countries have outlawed parties from buying ad time on television and it needs to be done here before the next election.
She adds instead of ads, leaders in other countries are given a select amount of air time to promote their policies.
The green ads will only run for a week and cost the party less than 10-thousand dollars.
