A monster winter storm is burying roads in Quebec and New Brunswick.
Up to 60 centimetres is expected in pockets of northern New Brunswick, and there are multiple road closures throughout the region.
In southeastern Quebec, snowmobiles are being pressed into service to help ambulances reach patients.
The Sherbrooke police force has lent its snowmobiles so that they can help create a path for emergency vehicles.
On two occasions Monday morning, they were used to help ambulances get to heart-attack victims.
Both patients suffered the heart attacks while shoveling snow.
