Fire at Ridgemont High School

Damage is estimated at $15-thousand after a fire in the wood shop at Ridgemont High School.

Fire crews answered the call around 10am Tuesday morning.

The school was evacuated until all smoke could be cleared from the building and no one was hurt.

It is believed the fire was caused by a spark from a sander guard that got sucked into the dust collection system.
