Access water from heavy rainfall, leave residents frustrated

More rain is expected to fall this weekend. City crews will continue work on removing the snow and slush to provide better drainage for the rainwater.
All this water is effecting everyone, an Ottawa man tells 1310News crews need to take care off the canal.
” The weather has been changing over the years, and I’ve been seeing a lot more of the flooding.”
Pedestrians have been playing a sidewalk hop-scotch to avoid the massive puddles, and avoiding being sprayed, where drivers are trying to avoid the vast minefield of pot holes, and drowning their engines which can be very costly.
Road crews are focusing more on opening storm drains to get the access water of the roads and sidewalks, and are preparing for more rain on the way.
