Deep river police started an investigation into the town first ever murder.
27 year old Michelle Cameron was found this week by police on Claremont road in the town of 4,000. Her father in law, 52year old John Craig Cameron turned himself in to OPP officers at the Parry Sound detachment.
Cameron and her husband had just separated on New Years day. Rick Cameron said he was in shock, trying to explain the death to his seven and three year old children, and trying to figure out why his father traveled from Parry Sound to Deep River, he said he is baffled.
The father-in-law was charged with first degree murder.
