Kate Middleton has ties to Calgary

It turns out royal-bride-to-be Kate Middleton has family ties to Canada.
Ancestry.ca says records show that Kate’s grandfather, Peter Middleton, once lived in Calgary.
The website says he was an instructor with the Royal Air Force at a Calgary flight school during the Second World War.
The school site is now home to Calgary International Airport and the only remaining school building houses the Aero Space Museum of Calgary.
Middleton will marry Prince William on April 29th and the couple is scheduled to visit Canada, including Calgary, on their first foreign trip as a married couple this summer.
Officials at the Aero Space Museum say they hope Kate can find the time to stop by to honour her grandfather.
They royal newlyweds will also visit the Northwest Territories, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and the Ottawa area.
