Royal wedding? There’s a new app for that

With less than two weeks until Prince William marries Kate Middleton, a new Royal app has been released.

The app shows a 3D viral wedding video, giving viewers a realistic tour of Westminster Abbey, where the couple will say their “I do’s” April 29.

iPhone, Andriod and iPad users world wide will be able to see an internal scaled replica of the famous thousand year old church, created through laser scanning technology and 3D modelling rarely applied to mobile devices.

The app starts at the Great West Door where Kate Middleton will begin her walk down the aisle with her father to the High Alter.

The app will have “hotspots” where information about key sections of the Abbey will be shown, highlighting their significance to the wedding day.

A birds-eye view of the Abbey will also be available to view the compete layout of the church.

Archive pictures, historical facts, and biographies of members of the Royal Wedding will also be included in the app.

Proceeds from the sale of the app will be split equally between Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Charitable Gift Fund and the Westminster Abbey Foundation.
