Separate East end crashes occur at same spot, hours apart

A woman had to be extricated from her car after a collision with a pick-up truck just hours after another driver had to be cut out in a separate crash.
Ottawa Police were called to Innes Road, just East of Frank Kenny Road, on Saturday and found a car that had severe impact damage to its passenger side.
The woman driving the car was conscious and the pick-up truck ended up on its side with all occupants able to get out on their own.
Police are investigating what caused the crash and there’s no word on the woman’s condition.
