A busy weekend in the city, which means many road closures for Ottawans to be aware of.

Ottawa Race Weekend will take over the downtown Saturday and Sunday.

A full list of road closures can be found here.

The race is adding to a weekend already full of other road closures.

Bank Street will remain closed to traffic, between the Queensway and Holmwood Avenue.

In addition, construction will have Hunt Club Road shut down, between Greenbank Road and Woodroffe Avenue, from Friday at 7 p.m. right through the weekend until the morning rush on Monday.

An 8.2 kilometer section of the Gatineau Parkway will also be closed to all vehicles every Saturday starting this one until the end of September.

The closure on the Parkway will create an Exhaust free zone for cyclists, in-line skaters, runners and walkers.
