Canadian citizen killed in Mexico

Foreign affairs has confirmed that a Canadian citizen has been killed in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The ministry isn’t released any details about the identity of the victim, only that they are working closely with local authorities.
However Mexican media reports identify the victim as a 62-year-old man from Penticton, British Columbia. He was apparently stabbed at least 25 times on May 30.
The reports say the man’s Mexican wife found the body when she came home after dropping their children off at school. About 20 thousand dollars was also stolen.
It’s believed the man had been working in Mexico setting up satellite television systems.
