Vancouver’s kissing couple identified

They can kiss their secret goodbye.
The couple caught in a serious lip lock during Vancouver’s riot has now been identified.
Media reports say the pair are 29-year-old Scott Jones from Australia and his girlfriend Alexandra Thomas.
Thomas is reportedly a student at the University of Guelph.
Jones’ father Brett Jones reportedly outed his son on Facebook.
The family told Australian news website Ninemsn that the pair had just recently started dating.
His mother, Megan Jones, told the website she was shocked to spot her son lying in the middle of the street.
“It is something he would do, that’s our boy. He has always lived in his own world, he’s special like that. He doesn’t always connect with what going on around him,” she said.
Many were apparently cheering the couple on while they were making out in the middle of the street, but rumours are swirling that the romantic scene was in fact staged.
Despite those question marks about the moment’s “reality” the photograph has been a huge hit on the internet.
Since the riot the couple has been photo-shopped everywhere from a highway to a battle ship on Star Wars.
