Funnel cloud spotted in Ottawa’s west end

Ottawa saw some active weather Thursday evening.
Drivers heading westbound on highway 417 spotted a funnel cloud off to the west. People around Constance Bay were pelted with hail.
Environment Canada did issue a thunderstorm warning around mid-evening, that was called off later in the evening after 50 millimetres of rain.
The heavy rain did wash out a portion of Dunrobbin Road, between Kilmaurs and Kinburn Side Road.
