Lansdowne Park case continues

The city has begun defence of allegations by the Friends of Lansdowne that City Manager Kent Kirkpatrick overstated funding estimates by $62 Million.

Lawyer Peter Doody told the court Kirkpatrick showed the best values and virtues when negotiating the deal with Ottawa Sports and Entertainment.

The city continues it’s case in Superior Court Wednesday.

Council has cancelled a meeting on Lansdowne set for next week because the case is still before the courts.
