Ottawa hosting a mobile hazardous waste collection Sunday

If you’re looking to get rid of some of the hazardous waste around your house you can head to Tunney’s Pasture this Sunday, Aug. 7 where the City of Ottawa will hold a a one-day mobile waste collection from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The collection will accept waste like pesticides, pool chemicals, paint thinners and more at the corner of Tunney’s Pasture Driveway and Scott Street.

No commercial waste will be accepted.
