The American Public Works Association has named the arch in Ottawa’s Chinatown one of the top projects of the year.
The arch, located west of Bronson Ave. opened last October.
Funding was provided by the Federal and Provincial Governments, the Somerset St. B.I.A. and donors.
Ottawa’s twin city, Beijing China, also chipped in $300,000 of in-kind services.
The award will be presented in September.
