Gatineau Police are on the lookout for a knife wielding thief who held up a convenience store and gas station on Tuesday night in Hull.
It occurred around 11:30p.m. when the doors to the Quickie store were closed, but the assailant used a rock to smash the window to get inside and threaten the clerk.
A passerby tried to hold on to the suspect, but he managed to escape and took off on Mont Bleu Blvd.
The suspect is described as a French speaking, slim, white male wearing a hooded sweatshirt and ball cap.
