There is plenty going on this weekend if you plan on staying in the Capital.

1st annual Ottawa Polo for Heart

8th annual Ottawa Lumiere Festival
– Several days of activities kick off, including lantern making workshops and 24 hour photo marathon
Art in Strathcona Park
– Displays the work of over 150 artists and artisans
– Elementary and high school teams, in addition to mens and ladies teams of varied levels will play on streets of Almonte in largest 3 on 3 tournament in Eastern Ontario
– Puppets take over Almonte, this year’s theme “All Creatures Great and Small”
– You can learn everything about ice cream, from cow to cone
– Celebrate the country in you by taking part in farming traditions
– From the midway to circus delights, there’s something for everyone
Casino du Lac Leamy Sound of Light Fireworks Competition
– Experience fireworks during one of 5 unforgettable evenings of international pyromusical fireworks
Monster Energy National Motocross Nationals
Eighth and ninth races in series at Sand Del Lee track in Richmond
