Air Force needs staff for CFB Petawawa

With a new helicopter squadron coming to CFB Petawawa by 2014, the question for the air force now is how to find the 482 people needed to staff it.

The staff will be filled gradually, with the first 118 personnel set to arrive next year, 185 in 2013, 65 in 2014, and then fully staffed by 2016.

The Citizen is reporting the air force is struggling to find enough people. With the first Chinook expected to arrive by 2013 the military is hoping to have a staffing plan in place by the fall.
