SuperEx still looking for a home

With just a year to go before the 2012 version of SuperEx, the future site on Albion Road remains untouched. The property has to be cleared, prepared and serviced before even a scaled-back edition of the fair can go ahead.
The Citizen reports the Central Canada Exhibition is now looking for a temporary location for next year and perhaps beyond and is said to be in talks with a couple of potential property owners. By holding the fair at a temporary site, it would give Ex organizers time to do the necessary groundwork for a more long-time home on Albion.
In the meantime, the company that ran the midway at the Ex is preparing to set up something similar on the grounds of the Ottawa Stadium between Aug.19 and 28.
