Bus driver video raises privacy issue

The issue of privacy on the buses has surfaced after an STO passenger snagged footage of a Gatineau bus driver and posted it on YouTube.
The video showed the driver filling out forms and steering the bus with his knees.
STO said the driver has been disciplined though not fired.
The transit Union has now stated that they believe that the video violated the driver’s privacy, and suggested that a ban on recording devices on buses would be appropriate.
