Moammar Gadhafi is calling on residents of the capital to “free Tripoli” from the “devils” who have overrun it.
From an unknown location, Gadhafi asked Libyans quote “why are you letting them wreak havoc?”
The speech aired today on local t-v, a day after anti-government rebels stormed Gadhafi’s Tripoli compound looking for the man himself, but they came up empty-handed.
The rebels did kill loyalist troops, loot armories and knock the head off a statue of the besieged dictator.
