Storms leave path of debris across southwestern Ontario

Storms wreaked havoc across Southern Ontario, Wednesday night.

There were reports of tornadoes near Shelbourne, another in the Lucan area and a third on the Lake Huron shoreline. However, that has yet to be confirmed by Environment Canada

Hydro one said about 25,500 customers in Southern Ontario were without power.

Environment Canada issued tornado warnings for just about every community in southwestern Ontario.

High winds, lightning and torrential rain knocked out power in many areas.

There was also the threat of large hail pummeling many of the crops ready for harvest.
