311 calls up in Ottawa during second quarter this year

311 operators in the city answered close to 200,000 calls in the second quarter this year.
That’s a three year high and one reason is a wild spring season.
The unusual amount of rainfall produced calls about flooding and the effect water had on the springtime problem of potholes and other road repairs needed.
Those calls went up 37 per cent.
