The Ottawa Fat Cats are on the brink of elimination from the Intercounty Baseball League championship series.
The Fat Cats were defeated 5-2 Sunday afternoon in game four of their series against the Brantford Red Sox.
Over 5,000 fans packed Ottawa Stadium for the game, but the Fat Cats weren’t able to come away with a win.
The Red Sox are now within one win of their fourth consecutive Intercounty Baseball League title.
Game five of the best-of-seven series goes Thursday at the Arnold Anderson Stadium in Brantford.
