Provincial leaders swing through Eastern Ontario

Day 13 of the provincial election campaign sees all three of the big three party leaders in Eastern Ontario, two of them in the capital.
Liberal leader Dalton McGuinty toured CHEO this morning saying he can find ways to save money on health care without making cuts at hospitals. McGuinty will make another stop in Kanata later this afternoon.
NDP leader Andrea Horvath met with voters along Bank Street at 2:45. She is promising help for transit systems in the province in return for a four year freeze on fares.
And PC leader Tim Hudak’s bus rolled from Toronto through Trenton on his way to Prescott and Cornwall. His message today, a promise to let you leave the smart meter program if you are unable to switch household chores like laundry to off-peak times.
