Man charged after making sex tape with girlfriend without consent

A judge has handed an Ottawa man a suspended sentence and probation for secretly taping he and his girlfriend having sex.

That tape was never made public.

Twenty-six-year-old Robert Bentham pleaded guilty to several charges including mischief and voyeurism .

The crown did ask for a two week to a month long stint in jail.
