Sentencing hearing continues for Buckingham gunman

A very bizarre and contradictory picture was painted today of the man who carried a loaded rifle into a Buckingham elementary school in April.
As 25-year-old Rock Dagenais’ sentencing hearing continues, the Ottawa Citizen is reporting he told staff he would not hesitate to shoot children.
He told police afterwards he would have committed suicide on the spot if he was not allowed entry.
Dagenais had no previous criminal record and passed the RCMP clearance procedure for buying his weapon.
He’s been in custody since his arrest.
