Young man stabbed in city’s southend

The second stabbing in as many days has left a 22-year-old man in stable condition at the Ottawa Hospital Trauma Center.
Darryl Wilton, Superintendent of Operations with Ottawa Paramedics, was the first on the scene on the corner of Walkley and Ayers roads. He told 1310News the victim was stabbed in the chin.
Luckily, paramedics were nearby and quickly responded to the call.
They treated the wound upon arrival just before 2 a.m. and rushed the patient to hospital.
On Sunday, a man, 43, was the victim of an early morning stabbing on Rideau Street.
Paramedics responded to the incident at the McDonalds in front of the Rideau Centre early in the morning, where they found the victim with a stab wound to his back.
He’s expected to be ok.
