Quebec Premier Jean Charest is in Paris, where he’s downplaying issues related to a construction scandal back home.
Charest is dealing with the resignation of speechwriter Patrice Servant, who reportedly said he couldn’t keep working for the government unless it calls a public inquiry.
He’s also trying to minimize a story about a rift in Quebec’s anti-collusion unit.
