New Democrats eager to get to work

Ontario’s New Democrats meet Thursday for the first time since last week’s election.
The party will likely be plotting its strategy in the new minority parliament, where every vote will count.
The election left the governing Liberals just one seat shy of a majority government with 53 seats.
The Tories and N-D-P have a combined 54 seats, which means the new legislative session could be a nailbiter.
N-D-P Leader Andrea Horwath has been saying that she wants to work with the other parties to make parliament work.
She’ll be rallying her troops today and welcoming some rookies who were recently elected.
Premier Dalton McGuinty will be touring a plant in Markham, just north of Toronto, Thursday afternoon.
