Kingston first degree murder trial

The Kingston trial for a family accused of first degree murder begins October 20, 2011.
The final jury members and two alternates were chosen from the pool of over 1,000 people at the Kingston court Thursday afternoon.
A father, Mohammad Shafia, his second wife Tooba Mahommad Yahya and his son Hamed are all charged with first degree murder.
They are all charged with killing Mohammad Shafia’s three daughters, Zainab, 19, Sahar, 17, and Getti, 13, his first wife Rona Amir Mohammad, 50, then dumping their bodies in a car in the Rideau Canal in Kingston.
